The Top Five Regrets of the Dying
My dude Phella put me on to an article on Addicted2Success.com that was written by Bronnie Ware. She's a health-care worker and spent some time interviewing patients who were at the end of their lives. She asked them what their biggest regrets were now that they were looking back and reflecting. The 5 most common answers are after the jump:
1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
2. I wish I didn’t work so hard.
3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.
Really fascinating stuff. Well, upon further investigation, I came across the full-length book, The Top Five Regrets of the Dying, which you can buy HERE or HERE on Amazon. Definitely worth the time.
