#certifiedFRESH - 5 Easy Holiday Cocktails

Ah, the holidays! A time for shopping, family, food and cocktails! Tis the season for creative and festive drinks to induce the mind into the holiday spirit. So I've browsed around and found 4 easy recipes, along with one of my favorites.

Yuletide Punch
Serves 16

750 ml Sobieski Polish Vodka
4 cups Chai Tea ( sweeten to taste)
4 cups clear apple juice
2 whole oranges cut into slices
2 whole red apples cut into slices
1-2 tsp. orange bitters (optional)
Combine ingredients in a punch bowl, serve over ice, garnish with fruit slices and enjoy!

Tinsel Bellini
Serves 1
2 ounces Hypnotiq
1 ounce Limoncello
1 ounce champagne 
Splash of lime juice
Rim a glass of your choosing, champagne flute, with a light coat of sugar.
Pour chilled Hypnotiq, limoncello, and champagne into the glass. Add a splash of lime juice.

Hennessy Sidecar 
Serves 1
Recipe by Hennessy 
2 ounces of Hennessy VS
1 ounce of Grand Marnier
1 ounce of lemon juice
Shake and strain, the now mixed drink, into a sugar rimmed cocktail glass.

Dark & Stormy*
Serves 1
2 ounces of Rum - Dark Rum *wink*
3 ounces of ginger beer
1/2 ounce of lime juice
Combine over ice, stir, making sure to keep the right balance of spice (ginger beer) and strength (rum).

Cider Jack 
Serves 1
Recipe from The Food Network 
2 ounces of AppleJack liqueur
1 ounce of lemon juice
A splash of grenadine or simple syrup.
Mix ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Strain into an ice filled glass.
Finally, top with a hard apple cider and serve with a cinnamon stick.
